A.J. Edds: MLB edds-story

No one saw this coming. After being drafted by the Dolphins in 2010 Edds has bounced around the league and hasn’t started since 2011. Despite his past injuries, A.J. has turned in a great camp and was the star of the first preseason game with a team leading seven tackles including one for a loss and a fumble recovery. Rex Ryan is known for getting the most out of defensive players and Edds may have finally found the right fit. With only Nick Bellore the only backup middle linebacker with experience and younger players like Jeremiah George struggling in camp early, if Edds can continue to impress over the next three preseason games he could not only be a backup but a versatile player in the middle of the Jets defense.
